The short version

Meport is 100% local. Your personality profile data never leaves your device. We don't collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Period.

What data does Meport process?

Meport creates AI personality profiles based on information you voluntarily provide. All processing happens entirely on your device:

• Desktop app: All data stored locally on your machine. No server connection.
• CLI tool: Runs in your terminal. Files saved to your local filesystem.
• Web profile creator (create.html): Runs entirely in your browser. No data sent to any server.

AI provider connections

When you use AI-powered features (profiling, refinement), Meport connects to your chosen AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) using your own API key. Meport does not proxy, store, or log these API calls. Your API key is stored in your browser's session storage or your system's secure keychain (desktop app).

What we don't do

• No accounts or registration
• No analytics or tracking scripts
• No cookies (except browser defaults)
• No server-side data storage
• No data sharing with third parties
• No telemetry

Exported profiles

When you export your profile to platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor, you control where that data goes. Meport generates the file; you decide what to do with it. We have no access to your exports.
